Ahhh I had all the cosy feels whilst reading this 🥰 Thank you for all the wonderful glimmers and pictures!! I'm going to google Nigel Slater as his name sounds familiar, but not sure from where and I'm all about food and stories! Hope you're doing well, lovely Victoria! Sending much love! 🧡
Hello! Lovely to see you here. 🥰 Definitely spend some time down an internet rabbit hole with Nigel Slater; he’s incredible. Hope you’re doing well and life is treating you kindly. Sending much love right back! xx
I started and I’m so excited!! 🤗 I’m doing well, thank you! I had to dwell in my imagination for a bit and bring a project into existence and stayed away from social media longer than I planned. Still learning to be okay with creating without feeling I have to show up online all the time, but I’m excited to start sharing the project soon! 🥰 xx
I love this Victoria, the photographs are beautiful. I've added those two books to my reading list ☺️ thank you for recommending them. It sounds like you had a lovely time in Norfolk, it's a place I'd like to visit.
Norwich is a lovely city. Pleased you enjoyed your trip across the Fens. I love The Christmas Chronicles too and I'm hoping Santa is going to bring me A Thousand Feasts!
I’m hoping Santa brings it for you too, Annie! There’s so much more of Norwich I’d like to explore; looking forward to my next trip. Have you read The Great Level by Stella Tilyard? That’s also worth a look for a bit of Fens history.
What beautiful glimmers of the transition from autumn to the holidays, Victoria! And, oh, I’m just going to have to get my hands on some Nigel Slater. I have never read anything of his, but he sounds like the perfect companion for this time of year. Happy Holidaying! 🎄
Absolutely get your hands on Nigel Slater - he’s wonderful at any time of the year but especially at Christmas. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! ☺️
I'm reading The Christmas Chronicles at the moment as I do every year. I have a pile of Christmas books that I turn to every December. It's become something of a ritual. A Thousand Feasts is on my Amazon wishlist. If no-one gifts it to me I will be treating myself in January. He is such a gorgeous writer who is able to conjure up scenes so clearly with his words.
Thank you for sharing your glimmers. After the couple of heavy frosts and the snow we had recently all of the colour has left the garden but the birds are back on the feeders which is such a delight, especially the jay.
I love to watch birds on the feeders too. Nigel Slater is the writer I most aspire to be like but I always think I am but a poor imitation. 😂 Hopefully, if I keep going and practising, I will reach his lofty heights. 🤞🏻I very much hope someone gifts you A Thousand Feasts - it’s well worth the wait, I promise.
The bits I saw were very nice. We’re going back to Norfolk for a longer break in May so I want to explore it more then (and hopefully it won’t be pouring with rain this time!)

Loved reading this Victoria. I’ve just started reading The Christmas Chronicles, pure delight! I must look out for A Thousand Feasts 😊
Thank you for reading, Debbie. It’s worth seeking out - I hope you love it! 🥰
More cosy glimmers - I love it ✨️🥰 I know exactly what you mean about Nigel Slater and this time of year - there's something so comforting! - Jess x
Yes! More recruits to the Nigel crew. 😂 x

I started A Thousand Feasts last week on audiobook. I went to university in Norwich, it's a fine city.
