Love to read your Glimmers from London. So different from mine living between two small villages. Although I sometimes enjoy the city life of Groningen where my love lives.

I think they are seasonal 😄 And I think you should go for writing a recipe book! Enjoy your April Vicoria! 💕🐣🌸

I love this post Victoria. It is wonderful how our writing evolves the more we write. I think sometimes courage is also needed to share and write what comes, I am certainly leaning into this at present. Write from the heart and I believe we cannot go wrong 💕🌱🌻

Thank you Clare! You are so right; I’m always second guessing myself that people won’t actually want to read what I’m writing but then I can only write what is true to me. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for being here. It’s so appreciated.

What a beautiful month! 💕 I’ve also been thinking and wondering the same things you are. I feel a need to switch things up a tiny bit, or at least write more personal, documentary-style letters. I seem to always come back to that in my writing. I’ll see how things evolve for me, but I am ever grateful for your poll questions! They are exactly the things I would ask as well. ☺️

As for your publication, I’d love to see and hear more about London and your life as well. How you’re living slowly and seasonally plays out in your life. Happy almost April! 🌸

Thank you for reading and for being here, Liz. I think the need to switch things up a bit is kind of a version of spring clean - clearing out what doesn't work to make space for more of what does. I'm a huge fan of your writing, as you know - I aspire to be as lyrical as you are. I worry that my writing is too 'me' focused and that it is jarring for people reading it but then, I can really only write from my own experience and about what is happening in my life so I hope it's not too off-putting for people. I'm looking forward to voting in your poll when you run it. ;)

Thank you for the feedback about what you'd like to see; it's super helpful. I definitely want to write more about seasonality and slowness so that will be a focus for some of my upcoming posts. We have a week off over Easter and we're doing a staycation so I hope that will give me lots of London-based and London-adjacent content too. :)

I loved this optimistic spring post, it really does feel as though things are waking up again. And spring in London is a wonderful thing. The art exhibition looks fab! I clicked other on the last question as I would love to read all of the above! xx

Thank you so much for taking the time to vote and comment, Lyndsay! The art exhibition was interesting; definitely check it out if you get the chance. Spring in London really is fabulous - I love seeing the city wake up again and lose that miserable grey sheen it has over winter! xx

Thank you for another beautiful post! I always look forward to your newsletters on Sunday mornings. 😊

For the poll, I would have loved to click more options on the last question. Sorry, I didn't realise I had to choose just one. So to make that clear, I would love to read more about all of the topics. And everything else that might interest you or become of interest along the way. 😀

I love the idea of you writing your own recipe book! That's such a wonderful idea! I'm sure you'll find your very own idea to stand out! Go for it! 📖 🩷

It's quite funny that I've been pondering how to go on with my blog this week as well, concerning topics (more of which ones and in what form?) and wondering if the name still fits. 😄

You're so kind, Claudia, thank you. I think wondering about the direction comes to all of us when we've been doing something for a while. For me, it's part validation of my choices and part curiosity about all the metrics I see on the dashboard (basically, am I even writing what people want to read?!) Your support is so much appreciated so thank you.

I've really enjoyed reading this Victoria, the signs of spring are slowly emerging. I've participated in your polls but just wanted to say that on the last one, I thought I could select more than one option but after clicking the top one, realised I couldn't - so just to confirm, I'd like to read anything and everything 🙂
