I never thought I would love art exhibitions. At school, it was made absolutely clear to me that I was terrible at art but as we know now, no one can be terrible at art, it is just an expression of your being. When I discovered the joy in slowly walking round a gallery, feeling into the emotion of different pieces, it was such a joy. And here’s to you publishing twice a month! I think posting every week is overrated!
Thank you so much, Anna! It's a decision I've been grappling with but it does feel like the right one. I really want what I write here to be good and I've been feeling like it hasn't been so it's time for a bit of a reset.
Flowers in the Springtime are such a sweet gift after the cold, stark Winter. I passed a huge patch of tiny Siberian Squill on my walk today, tucked deep in the shade under a large stand of trees. The blue color was so lovely and the sight of them made me smile.
I love when you discover little hidden treasures like this in the midsts of other things. There's so much beauty to discover at the moment; every time I go out for a walk, I discover something new and special.
Beautiful and so vary varied glimmers! They all sounded lovely. For a moment I actually missed living a city life with all its cultural opportunities, so inspiring!
I understand the struggle with wanting to publish consistently and high quality writing, but becoming stressed because of it as there is work and life and the need to slow down as well. I think, many of us do (struggle as well as understand). Please don’t worry, we are here because we love your writing, your voice and what you have to tell. It doesn’t have to be once a week. Whenever you're ready, we will be here. 😊
I love to get another glimpse into the glimmers of your (city's) life. The flower exhibition looks lovely. And I totally understand your problem with being consistent on a weekly basis alongside a regular work life! This is something I do struggle with myself. Happy May Victoria 🌸🌞💕
It's so comforting to know I am not the only one, Hilda! I've been feeling really burnt out so I'm learning to listen to my body and when it says I need to slow down. Hopefully it works and my creativity will spark again! Hope May holds only wonders for you. :)
Roses are a reminder to me to create balance with the softness and self care of life - we need the balance against the thorns which can drag us down. A lovely post 🌻🌱
I really enjoy reading your glimmers. Your taste in music is very similar to mine, and I'm pleased you enjoyed the concert. You're right about the blossoms, they've been beautiful this month. It's so uplifting to see the sun again, and observe the wonderful colours spring has to offer.
Thank you, Jenna! I feel like we have quite a lot of similarities. :) I'm clinging on to the blossom for as long as I can. My neighbour has a cherry tree that still has a few flowers on it and I check it every day to make sure they're still there!
It’s always a joy to read your beautiful glimmers, and such a varied selection this month! I’ve never been to the Saatchi Gallery, but I bet it’s a lovely exhibition (in a lovely setting!) 🌸🌱 Thank you so much for sharing your glimmers 🙏✨
Thank you for reading, David. The Saatchi Gallery is well worth a visit if you're in London and it's always fun to walk down the Kings Road and get a glimpse into how the other half live!
Gorgeous gorgeous post as always ! I really love the Three Glimmers posts ✨ I think adjusting your posting schedule is a great idea, it has to work for you and the last thing you want is any build up of pressure. It's like adapting with the seasons! Happy Sunday Victoria 🙏

Thank you so much, Claudia. Your comment really means a lot to me and I am so grateful to you for being here and for being so supportive.

I love this, Clare. I think that roses are symbolic for a number of reasons and this is such a great reminder.

Happy memories of walking down the King’s Road to visit a lovely friend who lived in Parsons Green (on the New King’s Road).

Thank you, Emily and yes, here's to adapting with the seasons. Happy Sunday to you too!
Spring blossoms create awe and joy. Cherry blossoms are my this week’s favorites. Waiting for the tulips next.
I have a soft spot for cherry blossoms too. There's just something about how delightfully pink they are that makes me really happy.
