What a beautiful, evocative post; thank you so much for sharing 🙏🍁 I too have been thinking about the liminality of this season. It has, for better or worse, been busy; perhaps a reminder that in life’s impending withering, we hold onto some things for too long.
I love that way of thinking about it. It is, at least for me, a time for shedding all the things that no longer serve and for making room for all those green shoots that will make themselves known as spring rolls around. I hope that after the busyness of autumn, you have a chance for peace and rest this winter.
Such gorgeous writing, Victoria. I felt as if I was floating through your words, suspended and calm in this liminal November energy. As you know, I love this time of the year and I feel like there is extra magic all around us, if we simply are aware. Thank you for a time of pure rest in this moment. xx
Thank you for reading, Liz! I’m glad it could be a moment of rest for you and I love the idea that there is magic all around us. It makes the grey days and dark nights much more palatable. xx
What a beautiful article, thank you. I reread several paragraphs because they contain so much meaning. The big thing for me this year for me has been leaving a long-term relationship after I discovered he had been lying to me. Your article has helped me reframe where I’m at with it and I think I am in a liminal space between letting go of him, us and who I was within that relationship. And now I’m rediscovering myself and what I want for my future. I will bookmark your article, thank you!
I’m so glad this resonated with you, Angela. Well done for having the courage to stand up for yourself and the life you deserve - I know it’s not always easy. I hope the journey of rediscovering who you are and what you want is a wonderful, healing one that leads you to some remarkable places. 🥰
That was a lovely read Victoria. It has given me something to think about with regards to recent life transitions. This autumn has been busy for me but I feel like I've made huge strides in starting the process of creating and distributing my photographs as wall art. Hope you have a great weekend 🙂 x
I’m so glad you’re moving forward with the wall art - your photos are wonderful. It’s also nice to have a new challenge and try something different. Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned! x
Thank you so much. I can only imagine how life changing it is but I wish you good health from now on and really admire your courage in turning it into a new stage of life. What a wonderful way to approach what I am sure has been a very challenging time.
